Owen Shipp Commercial acted on behalf of the Freehold owners negotiating the surrender and re-gear of circa 37,000 sq. ft. Open Storage Land with the occupational Tenants for a new 20 year leasehold interest. This re-gearing of the lease was carried out in order to give the Tenants long term security on the site to allow them to undertake significant improvement works including the installation of a new modern weigh bridge and asphalt plant. The rents were bought in line with more recent transactions on the estate which resulted in a circa 60% rental increase for the subject property.
